What a weekend it has been. We’ve hardly stopped to think.

Our opening day was much busier than anticipated. It seemed like all our neighbours came out to say hi. The welcome was overwhelming.

Massive thank you to the #Queerfam for the support.

We’re closed today, so we finally get to take a step back and appreciate all the work that got us here. Well - one of us, I (Em) am meeting a supplier at 5am today.

We’ve been honest here on the blog about our ethos and workload, and now we want to say that the next few weeks are pretty crucial for us. We’re up to date with all our bills but that took the last of the development money we’d scrimped and saved for years. To keep stock in and the lights on we’ll need some help.

Things that really help us: reviews, chatting about your purchases on social media, and most importantly - telling folk we are open and here.

A lot of you have told us how affordable we are, that’s because we believe good food should be affordable. We’d love for your support in our mission by shouting it from the rooftops!

Every minute of the past weekend has been a pleasure. We can’t wait to be back open on Tuesday with all new suppliers (including Spaceboy Coffee!) and lots of delicious stock.
